Douglas’ 25 years’ experience in the asset management industry, includes UK institutional pension fund management, establishing a joint venture for Schroders in Thailand, with CIO responsibility and latterly as CEO between 1996 – 2002. 

Between 2007 – 2015 Douglas was an Investment Specialist/Client Portfolio Manager at Columbia Threadneedle Investment Services in London, before joining Veritas Asset Management in 2015 as Director Asian Business Development, encompassing worldwide institutional distribution for Asia products (ex UK, Switzerland and Benelux) with Product Specialist role combined, with specific focus on Latin American pension funds and Asian institutional funds/clients.
